MOFARA Injection
MOFARA Injection is a veterinary antibiotic formulation containing Amoxicillin Sodium and Cloxacillin Sodium. It belongs to the penicillin group of antibiotics and is used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections in animals.
How Does It Work?
MOFARA works by inhibiting bacterial cell-wall formation, which leads to the destruction of susceptible bacteria. Cloxacillin is resistant to certain bacterial enzymes (beta-lactamases), which can help protect the antibiotic from being broken down by some bacteria.
Main Uses
It may be prescribed by a veterinarian for susceptible bacterial infections such as:
- Respiratory infections: Pneumonia and bronchitis.
- Skin and soft-tissue infections.
